Alberto Nuñez-Canales

Alberto, a native of Honduras, serves as the Assistant Project Manager at VPG. With just a few months at VPG, he is pursuing a double major in Construction Management and Engineering at LSU, displaying his commitment to advancing his knowledge and skills in the construction industry.

Alberto’s journey in project management spans over five years, specializing in roofing and home improvement projects. Notably, he played a pivotal role in the project management team tasked with replacing the roof of LT. GEN. RUSSEL L. HONORE’s house in Baton Rouge, a high-profile assignment that underscores his expertise and attention to detail in residential construction.

Alberto’s dedication and leadership have been recognized with significant awards and accolades, including leading a "Team of the Year" at Garcia Roofing and achieving the most 5-star reviews in a single year during his tenure there. These accomplishments highlight his ability to deliver exceptional results and maintain high customer satisfaction standards. Beyond Alberto’s professional achievements, he brings a creative flair and passion for culinary arts. He has been featured on Fox 8 as a sous chef to Chef Brian Landry during a menu preparation at the studio, an experience that reflects his versatility outside of construction.
