Chris Perryman Agee
V.E.T.S. Summer Intern
Chris, a native of Mobile, AL, serves as the Estimating Intern at VPG. Just one month into the internship, he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in architecture at Tuskegee University, which fuels his passion for the construction industry and building design. Before joining VPG, Chris gained valuable industry experience at Bay Marine Construction, where he specialized in marine construction projects, including boathouses, boatlifts, bulkheads, and piers. This hands-on experience has shaped Chris’ understanding of construction processes and project management, preparing him well for his role in estimating at VPG.
In addition to Chris’ practical experience, he is proud to highlight an impressive academic record as a four-time Dean’s List recipient, demonstrating his commitment to academic excellence and dedication to learning. Chris is also actively involved in professional organizations such as AIAS (American Institute of Architecture Students), NOMAS (National Organization of Minority Architects Students), and NSLS (National Society of Leadership and Success), where he continues to expand his network and knowledge within the architecture and construction fields. Outside of his academic and professional pursuits, Chris shared a fun fact about his memorable experience playing a pickup basketball game against NBA stars Demarcus Cousins, John Wall, and Eric Bledsoe.
At VPG, Chris finds immense satisfaction in the welcoming, family-oriented work environment. He appreciates the supportive culture, where teamwork is valued, and everyone is encouraged to contribute ideas and grow together. This supportive atmosphere fosters his professional development and makes each day at VPG a space to grow and flourish.
