Jonathan Duane Thomas Jr., a native of Baton Rouge, LA, has built his passion for construction from his hometown roots. Armed with a Bachelor of Construction Science and Management from Tuskegee University, Jonathan embarked on a career that blends technical expertise with creative ingenuity. At VPG, where he currently serves as Assistant Superintendent for nine months, Jonathan finds not only a professional home but also a family-oriented environment that fosters growth and development.

From constructing a shed with his father using knowledge derived from YouTube tutorials to designing and building magazine photo booths for events, Jonathan exemplifies a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving. His journey into the industry was marked by formative internships at Woodward Design Build in New Orleans and MAPP Construction in Baton Rouge, where he honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of project management.
