Vincent Weaver

Vincent Weaver, a Louisville, Kentucky native, is a dynamic figure in architecture and construction. His educational journey began at Tuskegee University, where he earned a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Architecture from Hampton University. Vince joined CEO Mike Merideth and COO Andre Lewis as the President of VPG Construction in 2015. Vince has closed over 40M in new projects, created full-functioning estimating, preconstruction, and marketing teams, and secured strategic relationships with the City of New Orleans, Louisiana school parishes, and multiple private clients. 

Vince's career spans over a decade, starting humbly as an entry-level architect at renowned firms in Miami, Florida, Dallas, Texas, and Atlanta, Georgia. His early successes set the stage for his transition into a pivotal role as Project Manager at his family's construction company in Louisville. Here, Vince demonstrated his technical skills and strategic vision for project execution and management. Furthermore, Vince immersed himself in facilities management, assuming the role of Director of Facilities at prominent institutions such as Fort Valley State University, Alabama A&M University, and Howard University. This phase of his career showcased his ability to oversee large-scale projects and facilities with precision and effectiveness, solidifying his reputation as a trusted leader in the industry.  

Vince's contributions have not gone unnoticed, as evidenced by his receipt of the Georgia Historic Preservation Award in 2010 and his inclusion in the NCARB Council Record (#128608), highlighting his adherence to professional standards and excellence in architectural practice. He remains actively engaged in professional organizations such as SAME, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., OSHA 10, ASHE (American Society of Healthcare Engineers), and serves as a Board Member of the Vieux Carre Commission, further illustrating his dedication to industry advancement and community stewardship.  

A fun fact about Vince is his passion for collecting bourbon and cooking exotic meals. At VPG, he finds immense joy in the vibrant personalities, creativity, and growth of the people he works with. Witnessing their daily contributions and camaraderie makes each day at the office an exciting and fulfilling experience for him.
